Finding Health Insurance

When remembering health insurance, i remember one of the Simpson episode, “Last Exit To Spriengfield”. It was about Homer, who become an Union President, fighting health care in his company, for Liza Simpson who wear a bracket.
Yup, that it was, like an old good company who assure their employee health care, family like wise. For a worker like me, where my company doesn’t provide optimal health protection; i definitely must find my own protection.
Actually i already think about it a long time, but seems like a low priority. Not being cocky because assume always healthy, but because lack of health insurance knowledge..thing.
Compared to life insurance, education and pension; where are health insurance? It seems all are important and so many need to take a side if we want to plan all that sort of stuff. Beside, we’re five, my dad, mom, me and 2 brother and sister.
Ah, it suc* have to work where there’s no social assurance. No health assurance, no pension, no nothing. Just imagine, when one of your family memebr goes to hospital, all your fund resource had to come out to pay thie bill.
If it has to come like this, even just for a bracket like Liza Simpson? I might have to forget it! Arrgh, it feels a lot worse than working at Homer Simpson Mr. Burn’s place.
Whose fault is that?

Recently i almost got a typhoid . And almost go to the hospital. But fortunately, im not. And can say my prayer to God, i don’t have to spend hundred of dollars for health care. This gave me enough confidence to protect myselft, whether in life pattern or health care. I had my mind, i dont make my kids suffer when i grow old.

The poor thing is, after reading about the insurance, its getting harder to decide. Some offering pure health insurance, others offering mix with investment/link unit. Pure health insurance had term “burned” if there’s no claim. A sales person once told me that his product will “refund 20% if there’s no claim”

Is it worth it?

Insurance plus investment force us to do investment. While according to Safir Senduk, our top priority scale are to pay debts,  operational, saving and lastly, investing. The point is, if we still have a lot of debts, is it possible to investing?

Than those kind of investment, stock, obligation, forex blah blah blah,etc !@#$%^&*. Wow, its so interesting. Who would not like dollars? If we talk about money, everyone like to become SpongeBob’s Mr Crabb” “I like money!!!”

Yeah..
Then..what should we do huh?

Health Insurance Company Spin Their Money In Cigarrete Business

Who would know that life and health insurance company in the USA, Canada and UK having billions of dollars of investment on cigarrete industry, recently published in medical journal, The New England Journal Medicine.

Wesley Bond, the write, found that at least 4,4 billions dollars of those insurance company fund were invested in company that related with cigarrette, cigar, and chew tobacco.

“Although all this time, insurance industry had been ask to step out from tobbaco industry by docters and others, insurance keep put their profit above people healths” says Boyd, one of the teaching staff in Harvard Medical School.

” It is obvious that their priority are making money, not keeping people healthy”.

Tobbacco are consider the main cause for lung cancer and prime factor for liver disease, stroke, lung disease, dan cancer.

According to World Health Organization, tobbacco are one of the main factor that donate more than 5,4 millions death per year.

First researcher say that, life and health insurance having huge investment in cigarrette company in 1995 in a england medical journal, Lancet. “Although investing in cigarrette industry, while selling life insurance and health insurance may seems defeting them self, but insurance company already taking steps to take profit in both industry, said Boyd.

“Insurance are not cover for smokers or, general, they having higher premium. Insurance profit, and smokers lose, twice more”

According to study, Prudential Financial Inc USA having 264,3 million US Dollar investment between 3 largest USA cigarrette company, including Reynolds America and Phillip Morris.

Canadian Insurance company, Sun Life Financial Inca, who sold life insurance policy, disability insurance and health insurance having stock portfolio more than one billion dollar US in 2 cigarrette company, including 890 million dollar US in Phillip MOrris.

Prudesntial Plc, who sold health insurance and disability insurance, having 1,38 billion dollar US in 2 cigarrette company including British American Tobacco.

Study also detailed large investment in cigarrete from USA insurance company, Northwestern Mutual and Massachusetts Mutual Life, and Scotland company, Standard Life Plc.

Tips For Choosing Health Insurance Coverage

Do you have a health insurance coverage? Probably most of us would say, “NO”. Above all, if one of our family member got sick and need to go to the hospital, then we trully reailze that owning a health insurance coverage is a must. Specially if its bad, beside our body would suffer, so is our wallet and savings!

For you who want to have a health insurance coverage, there’s some tips that you can follow:

1. Take health insurance that give plenty benefit when you have to stay at the hospital. Because this will be the most expensive cost that we have to take when doesn’t have health insurance, and we can’t precisely figure when we’ll going out.

2. Health insurance usually also offered attach to life insurance. This is an option that we can take if we want it in one package, or seperately.

3. Health insurance that give critical desease benefit should we take. Critical desease can make us spend tons of tons of money. It could be million or billion of dollars. Yes, we would spend more moeny,  but that would be cheaper then we spend it from our pocket. So why not shoft it to health insurance company?
