Pet Health Insurance Cost rise in New Jersey?

Thursday, March 5th, 2009

Looks like New Jersey are heaven for pet owners. Because there is an increase on household who buy pet health insurance, rpughly about 1,7 percent. This make New Jersey the top player in pet health insurance than any other state, state Sarah Riegle.

New Jersey has increase their pet health insurance coverage  by half percentage between 2000-2007. Because New Jerseyan treat their pets as a part of the family, ranging from banyard pets to bedroom pets. Even a possum now have health insurance coverage! (Geez, even me dont have that kind luxury. Lucky boy ^^)

Unfortunatly,  the pet health insurance coverage also rise for the past year, nearly 129%. Such for example, the insurance premium for a canine averages $28 a month. However, providing provide pet insurance for between 15 percent and 20 percent would be still reasonablein the US, because in UK, it’s pet health insurance average 25%.

Because of the slow economic growth, some may consider to reduce their pet health insurance. And this could be a threat in the near future.
