Did Health Insurance Work In Medical School?

When you plan to start medical school next year, and you are concerned about your health insurance, you might read this on. Since you can not work, it might be a little concern about coverage. Some of you maybe know that some school do provide health insurance, but not sure about intuition.
Well, this health insurance coverage depends on what state you are in. The only advantage of a school plan is that it is guaranteed issue. Most school sponsored policies are limited benefit ($50,000 or so) and your primary care provider is the campus clinic. The cost is in addition to tuition, and if you are like most of us, added on to your student loan.
The advantage to an individual plan is that you own the policy - not the university, or for that matter not your employer either. When you graduate you will still have insurance. An individual policy probably costs less as well.

Health Insurance As An Election Issue Among The Candidates

This year, America facing an election season, And one of the issue among the candidates are health insurance coverage. Although many issues have come to surface, but this subject could be a way to win the race.

Barrack Obama propose a universal health insurance, health insurance coverage for all citizen of the USA, whether they don’t have coverage or they don’t have the quality to get subsidized care, or they who already have a health insurance plan in their family.

And for John McCain, planning that health insurance for employer is taxable. But there would be a refundable tax credit, that can be use to buy the health insurance policy they want.

In the end, although oil price raise and wars in Middle East came to front of every newspaper and media in the State, health insurance would be still an issue that always our concern years to come, even to our grand-children.
