Recent studies has shown that “Pay or Play” laws (where employer should provide health insurance or pay a fine has make a devastating effect to low-wage employee. This as company policy to cut on job and hours to make the company stay operate.
The main purpose of this laws was suppose to solve the health insurance crisis in America. But unfortunately, this laws has become a dagger to employer. It stab right in the main vain of cost, thus increasing operational cost.
This studies shown that for every 10 insured employees, 1 low-wage would lose their job. Can you believe that? This laws suppose to help those low-wage workers get health insurance coverage, but in fact it just make them lose their job *sigh* . When those people “above” realize that what they do are not do any good!
