Cost Cuts on St. Joseph County Goverment Health Insurance
There has been a sad news from St. Joseph County. The St. Joseph County government had tighten their budget on health insurance to justify the high cost of health insurance in this county. As said by County Commissioner Steve Ross, this action were expected to save nearly 750,000 a year.
The notification arrive in letter over the weekend. It state that some spouse would be terminated from the county’s health insurance program. If this spouse were found out that he/she work at other company that provide health insurance program, the employee’s spouse must take the health insurance for them self.
Ross admitted that this would cause a hard debate among the employee. But again, for the reason of efficiency, it must. This change will takes effect January 1st, 2008.

I read similar article also named Cost Cuts on St. Joseph County Goverment Health Insurance, and it was completely different. Personally, I agree with you more, because this article makes a little bit more sense for me
