Catholic Health Association Response For Bush Vetoes On Health Insurance For Children

Bush vetoes on State Children’s Health Insurance Program has become a “snow-ball” effect. The Catholic Health Association has give their Press Release as a response to the political decision. As shown below”

“By vetoing legislation to reauthorize the State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP), the President has just played partisan politics with the lives of ten million children in desperate need of health care coverage. The Catholic Health Association condemns this denial of health insurance for children.”

This vetoes has give a barrier to millions of children, to have a proper health care. Thus, decreasing the life opportunity and a chance of survival. As a great nation, it is against our moral to leave children without a proper protection. It’s like give them to the lions den. It’s time for the Congress to do the right thing and fight back.

This is children’s live we talking about, not juts a numeric statistic in a computer. Just because some state has use SCHIP out of the scope, that does not mean that it had to be stop. Change the system, not the children’s life opportunity.
